Travel Proof required for Telecom and Postal workers

On March 29th 2020, the Prime Minister and Chair of the EOC (Emergency Operations Center) informed the General Public on increasing measures to ensure the safety and security of the population in this COVID-19 period, including several decisions in relation to the movement of persons in and around St. Maarten.
Effective March 30 2020, all workers in the essential industries, which includes Telecommunications & Post, are required to carry a document on them, signed by their employer, declaring the need for them to travel to work, or one which describes which essential service they are traveling to or for.

The authorization document called "Professional Travel Proof" is included as attachment to this release, and also available for download on the Government website: www.sintmaartengov.org/coronavirus
